Prep Camp Nov 29, 30, 1st

Preparation camp for Vanuatu mission trip.
We have our full team together Monday night, Tuesday and Wednesday.

MONDAY - Had a great start on Monday night with the team and a hand full of our steadfast friends and prayer partners. Started the night with praise and worship and a time of welcoming the Holy Spirit. The team were prayed for and prophesied over by every person. Followed that by the training on the gifts of the Spirit.
There was a real presence of God and a great start for prep camp. Huge thank you to our prayer intercessors.

TUESDAY- debrief about the night before and gifts of the Spirit. What gifts people were desiring for the task ahead. We carried on working on our music/worship songs followed by individual expectations/team expectations etc.. This was a great teaching and extremely important that we all discuss what expectations we have and the difficulties of unrealistic and/or low expectations.
After lunch talked about the dramas we would be doing and did our youth outdoor games and team building sessions. We will be doing all of these with the young people we are with in Vanuatu. We spent the rest of the afternoon studying Colossians and conflict resolution. Kim facilitated an impressive study and discussion on this. All the team gave great input regarding this and negotiation etc so we will be well prepared "when" conflict happens and also at the evening debrief sessions.
We made a champion pizza dinner and after dinner practiced our dramas and songs. We especially worked hard on our favorite song E Te Ariki just have to work on the actions. Lastly for after a long day was a game of hide n seek in the vicarage where our prep camp is based and a long game of "Scum" (card game) which is presently still going at 12:36pm :-) Finished at 1.15am)

WEDNESDAY - Spent some time getting all the ants out of my breakfast cereal to start the day :-0 We began again by practicing our worship songs. Teaching this morning was on "The Kingdom of God" "The Kingdom of Darkness" "How satan has authority and how we get it back" "Spiritual Warfare" "Prayer for protection" "Salvation messages and demonstration" Followed by the big clean up.
Big ups to Hazel Prickett and Kim for the teaching, Sue Grimshaw for the admin stuff and our dear friends and prayer intercessors for your support
